Revised Common Lectionary at Ocoee Oaks

Much of the teaching ministry at Ocoee Oaks is related to the Revised Common Lectionary (RCL). Sermons are based on passages of Scripture chosen from the RCL. Wednesday night Bible study and small groups are also based on the Scriptural themes based on the pattern of the RCL.

We also use the RCL as our churchwide reading plan. By reading the Scriptures together,  by sharing this experience, we have the opportunity to engage in conversations about our shared experience of Scripture reading and the understadings and applications of Scripture to which God may be leading us.
